2. Visiting the website
When you open a page, your browser sends technical data that our hosting provider records in server logs: IP address, date and time, the page requested, referrer and browser type. We need this data to deliver the website and to keep it secure. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (our legitimate interest in a stable and secure website).
Fonts, the logos of the AI assistants and all other assets are served by our own server. Your browser does not contact Google Fonts or other third parties when you visit.
3. Cookies
We only use cookies that are strictly necessary: when you run a check, a session cookie keeps your check and your dashboard in this browser. It expires after 90 days. We use no analytics, advertising or tracking cookies. Legal basis: § 25(2) no. 2 TDDDG and Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR.
4. Running a free check
When you enter a link, we:
- fetch the public store listing or website behind it on our server. It may contain personal data such as a developer's name;
- write questions your customers might ask and put them to AI assistants such as ChatGPT, Gemini, Google AI Mode and Claude;
- store the product data, the questions, the answers and the results in your account.
For this we use Anthropic (Anthropic, PBC, USA) to write the questions, to ask Claude and to analyse the answers, and Oxylabs (Lithuania) to collect the answers of ChatGPT, Gemini and Google AI Mode. We send them only product information and questions, not your email address or IP address. Product icons are also loaded through our server, so your browser does not connect to the stores. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (providing the check you requested).
To prevent abuse, we limit the number of free checks per network and day. For this we store a salted hash of the first part of your IP address (the network) with each check; the IP address itself is not stored. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (our legitimate interest in protecting the service).
5. Your email address and your account
If you give us your email address, we store it with your account so that your dashboard is saved and you can sign in again. We send emails such as sign-in codes and reports through Resend (USA). Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR. If you email us, we use your message only to answer it.
6. Service providers and transfers to third countries
- Vercel Inc. (USA): hosting; our server functions run in Frankfurt am Main
- Neon (USA): database; data is stored in Frankfurt am Main
- Anthropic, PBC (USA): AI model for questions, answers and analysis
- Oxylabs (Lithuania): collecting answers from AI assistants
- Resend (USA): sending emails
These providers process data on our behalf and under our instructions (Art. 28 GDPR). Where data is transferred to the USA, the transfer is based on the European Commission's adequacy decision for the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework, where the recipient is certified, and otherwise on the EU Standard Contractual Clauses (Art. 46(2)(c) GDPR).
7. How long we keep data
We keep account data, checks and results as long as your account exists. You can delete a project in its settings at any time, and we delete your account and all its data when you ask us to. Server logs are kept by our hosting provider for a short time only. Statutory retention periods remain unaffected.
8. Your rights
You have the right to access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18) and data portability (Art. 20). To exercise them, an email to info@trackable.pro is enough.
Right to object: where we process data on the basis of Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, you can object at any time on grounds relating to your particular situation (Art. 21 GDPR).
You can also lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority, for example the one responsible for us: the State Commissioner for Data Protection of Lower Saxony (LfD Niedersachsen), Hannover.
9. Other information
You are not obliged to provide personal data; without a link we cannot run a check, and without an email address your dashboard stays in this browser only. We do not use automated decision-making within the meaning of Art. 22 GDPR. We may update this policy when our service changes; the current version is always available here.
